The state-of-the-art and world class, the transportation hub will serve the daily commuters and visitors in and around the entire city.
Designed by internationally acclaimed architect Branco Cavaleiro, the hub will have heliports which can take between 8-12 helicopters. The public transportation hub has been designed to provide a hassle free commute through provision of helicopters to transport passengers, baggage, freight (in support of the oil industry in Ghana), ambulance and medical evacuation services as well as mass transit, bus and taxi services.
The residential development envisaged for phase 1 will include 1-4 bedroom villas, 1-3 bedroom apartments for the various companies, businesses as well as private individuals.
Including a shopping mall, office buildings and retail shops the commercial zone will be a business friendly environment, advanced in technology and bespoke and ultra-modern in office parks that will serve the needs of all businesses.
The development will include a four star hotel with 150 rooms and 200‐seater convention centre to serve the business community within the city.
Across the world, Free zones have emerged as a planning tool to help boost economic development. A dedicated section of the city will be operated as a free zone enclave.
