With a vision to transform Africa and a proven track record of success, Nana Kwame Bediako stands out among the brightest rising entrepreneurs in Africa. In only a few short years, Nana Kwame has achieved an impressive level of success in Accra’s real estate industry with properties in prime areas including Trasacco Valley, Cantonments, Airport, and East Legon. Now he has his sights set on tackling national, regional, and continental development issues.
His company, Wonda World Estates was established in 2001 to develop and manage these projects, and his portfolio soon grew to include over 70 homes. The company recently ventured into more ambitious projects including large-scale modern apartment blocks which will undoubtedly revolutionize the local real estate market by creating world-class housing options in Ghana.
Building an empire is not by blocks. Rather it is by defining the moment and developing a team with trust of ability to sustain and provide for the present and future generations.
In the wake of the recent oil discovery, Nana Kwame recognized the incapacity of Takoradi to accommodate the boom in economic and social activity that would emerge once exploration activities began. With the aim of building the first “Oil and Gas Capital of West Africa”, Petronia City Development was born out of his inspiration to help Africa realize its full potential by capitalizing on its natural resources. He conceptualized a mixed-use, self-sustaining city designed to provide an enabling environment with state-of-the-art infrastructure which provides a lifestyle and complements various industries such as the oil, gas, mining and finance within Africa.
In addition to his role as President and CEO of Wonda World Estates and Petronia City Development, Nana Kwame Bediako is also the founder of New Africa Construction (NAC) as well as The New Africa Foundation, a non-profit organization aimed at empowering a new generation of African Leaders.
